NO WORRIES, I was there once, too. Cross stitch is a very EASY CRAFT to learn, and there are tons of videos online to teach you for free. You will just be stitching little x's on evenweave cloth, using my grid type charts as a guide.
I will only be giving you the digital download patterns. Once you have the patterns, you need to go buy the materials on my list and a 5" embroidery hoop at your local needlework shop or online. Then, with your new skills and the information in my pattern, you will confidently begin stitching your way to your very first handmade treasure to keep for yourself or for a gift!
Oh, and if you get stuck along the way, you can get help in person from your local stitchery shop or contact me online with your questions.
